Another gorgeous afternoon

Hesteggi (horse ridge) is a very popular mountain, rising 907m above the city of Sogndal. There is a marked route starting at Tjødnali above Kjørnes and it runs 4km up the forest – to the top of Hesteggi – just above the tree line.
This was an absolutely gorgeous afternoon, and we (Anne and I) wanted to pay Hesteggi a visit. Soon after heading out from Tjødnali, Anne decided to see how fast she could walk the 760 vertical meters to the top. Would she make it within the hour? I stayed behind and provided a motivational speech when needed…
I was very impressed with Anne, who reached the top in 1 hour and 2 minutes. She has every chance of making it up in less than the hour if she puts her heart into it…
My personal record from 2015 is 44 minutes sharp, but I was of course running parts of the route. I now got tempted to run it again to see if I can do it better.
