Monday: Round trip hike from Leikongeidet, off-trail to Rjåhornet. Return via Sletteheidane.

Svedehornet (404m), Sep 28 2021
Tuesday: As I am publishing this (in 2024), I can not remember why we didn’t go to Årvikveten today. But the tracks and the pictures tell me that we went to Svedehornet and took a different route back to Drageskaret. Very odd. The weather looked fine.

Nakken (180m), Sep 29 2021
Wednesday: I took the bike, with the lopper in my backpack and biked with Karma to Djupvika, from where headed up the Nakken trail, trying to get rid of some bush. After a good session, we returned the same way.

Instehornet (653m), Sep 30 2021
Thursday: I love the route from Volda, up to Rotsethornet, across Instehornet and return to Volda via Litledalen valley and lake Rotevatnet. But it’s getting harder and harder to get Karma up the crux of the steep forest. At some point in time, this will be a no-go route for her. Maybe I should go looking for alternative routes near the crux.

Friday: October! This hike went from Løset and today I felt for some steep off-trail terrain from lake Mørkevatnet and up to Garnestua. We followed the normal path on our way down.

Rjåhornet (421m), Storevarden (430m), Oct 3 2021
Sunday: Today, I decided to explore an off-trail route from Mulevika that I hadn’t tried before. The route was easy enough and we ended up on Rjåhornet before we joined the trail network. After visiting Storevarden (Nerlandsøya island high point), we followed the path down Vardemyrane before finding our way back to Mulevika.
