A very forgettable hike…

This hike should have been an anonymous entry in the “Week 27” report, but as all other hikes that week went into separate trip reports, I am stuck with this very forgettable hike. I could have dropped posting it altogether, but here goes…
The weather wasn’t great and rain was clearly moving in. I wasn’t very motivated for seeking higher ground and settled for a round trip hike across Leinebjørnen and Sollida. I couldn’t remember ever being on Sollida before, so at least I had some motivation along the way.

We headed out from Frøystadskaret, went up to lake Svartevatnet and followed the normal route to Leinebjørnen.

We continued to Sollida and then it started to rain. Once we got there, I had no recollection of ever being here, so that was kind of an upside.

I decided to find the shortest and best route down to Torvikstranda (via Storehornet) and soon found ourselves in mind-boggling annoying terrain. It was just awful. Bush, turfs, bush, turfs…

And the 2,2km back to Frøystadskaret was SO boring…
Trip statistics: 6,1km, 360 vertical meters, 1,5 hours
